Work History: From Feb 2003 to Oct 2010.
Worked as System Administrator/Computer Programmer in Bajaj Auto Ltd’s Premier dealership in Chandigarh I.e. Hind Motors Ltd.

Responsibilities: Was responsible for managing all types of Application Software plus Programming and Networking issues. I am managing Domain Server with DMS application server and Enterprise Red Hat Linux Server for Internal Email applications and Novell Netware based network with 25 nodes also.

Manager of three different networks with around 85 nodes. Facilitated two DSL lines of internet sharing with 40 Nodes. I was responsible for all Data Backup, Recovery & assets of the company related to IT.

I was also managing one UTM device ‘FIREBOX X55e’. Was responsible for providing all MIS/EDP support.

Set up a Wi-Fi network at our new
branch at Mohali, which has Asia’s biggest workshop facilities under TATA MOTORS. Installed 57 computers and two IBM servers.

Also provided management of four separate windows 2003 servers & network for DMS system at our
dealership.

• Worked with MANIPALUNIVERSITY’s direct study centre ie.UNISOFT COMPUTER EDUCATION as Sr.Instructor from Mar 2000 – Feb 2003.
Responsibilities include teaching, making schedules for other instructors, making notes etc.

• Worked with M/s.Petro & Agro Ways,near Mohali as programmer from May 1998 – March 2000.
Responsibilities include preparing daily reports of their sale and stock, maintenance of their databases etc.

• Worked with BRC Institute of Engineering and Computer Sciences from Jan 97 – April 98 as computer faculty.
Responsibilities include preparing notes and small guides for student’s references.
