My Vegas Vacation

Hey Everyone, My apologies for not writing last week. I was preparing and in the midst of enjoying my first vacation to Vegas. Some call Vegas, "Sin City!" I prefer, Fabulous Vegas--The City of Lights.

Applying this to our theme of careers, jobs, employment, and life, Vegas fits in rather nicely. For one, I hooked up with an old Army buddy that served with me as a Military Musician. He has a college degree...but guess what? He's a Carpenter--a Foreman/Straw Boss/Get-Dirty-Sweat-Hands-Dirty Laborer.

But check this, he owns a $450K house and lives life Very Well! He revealed that his Union wages and benefits are Top Dollar. Hey, more power to ya, Dude!

My batteries are recharges; my marriage has a renewed spirit. Moreover, I'm fixin to grab unto a new career (change). I believe that we need to grow and evolve rather than remain stable and devolve. Ya feel me?
