QUALIFICATIONS I have 20 years of sales experience in the industrial and automotive fields with technical and applicational experience with a wide range of products.
11/07-present Outside Sales Representative, General Fasteners. Industrial sales of cutting tools, machine tools and MRO products. Sales and marketing objective is to establish new business as well as service existing business Alabama, Tennessee and Mississippi.
Duties include working with customers in reducing cost in the manufacturing process as well as inventory reduction.
04/02-10/07 Sales Engineer & Account Executive, Kyocera Industrial Ceramics. I established new business and increased market share in the tri-state region. Maintained and grew existing accounts.
because of my efforts, we were awarded contracts at Toyota/Alabama, 3 Webb Wheel accounts and 2 NTN bower accounts. It was my responsibility to show cost reduction and reduced cycle times at not only these accounts but all accounts in my region.
Other responsibilities included training end users as well distributors on ceramics, cermets, carbide and all tooling products manufactured by KICC.
My responsibilities were sales, service and training customers on cutting tools, abrasives and all MRO products. In 2002 we were awarded the largest contract in the history of the company by Fontaine Trailer and the Marmon Group. Annual sales for my territory were in excess of 8.5 million dollars at the end of 2004.
Training: I have attended and successfully completed training seminars with many companies (Kyocera Industrial Ceramics, Do it Best corp., Greenfield, Norton, 3M, Kennametal, NTK Ceramics, Castrol, Master Chemical etc…) I have successfully managed the Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee markets with continued growth in market share.
Knowledgeable of computer applications; SAP, Excel, Digital and Cloud-based applications.
The product lines that I have worked with and marketed include: cutting tools (ceramics, diamond, CBN and carbide), abrasives (coated and bonded), fluid power products, carbide round tools, machine tools, work holding systems, coolants and chemicals, as well as many MRO products.
I have worked extensively with key people in all phases of the manufacturing process to include purchasing, engineering, CNC operators, plant managers and supervisors.
